Date(s) - Saturday 11 August, 2018
I am running an intermediate climbing trip to Bardens Lookout in the Blue Mountains this Saturday 11th August. At this stage, I don’t have a seconder for the trip so I will run it as a private trip if I don’t find a seconder. This means that you need to be a self-sufficient climber who can competently and confidently lead belay, lead climb and clean single pitch sport climbs without supervision. Grades are around 16-19 however if you want to jump on some harder stuff, feel free.
Details (subject to change):
Time: Meet at UTS 7am and return between 7 and 8pm.
Location: Bardens Lookout and Historic Wells
Transport: Car (we will organise this once i know who can drive etc.)
What to bring (please specify below any equipment required): Harness, climbing shoes, 3 locking carabiners, belay device, personal safety sling, warm clothing, lunch, 2L water, sun protection)
Cost: $20 for the driver
When you sign up for the trip please indicate:
– Describe your outdoor lead climbing experience
– What equipment you need to borrow from the club (as this is a private trip we don’t have priority to accessing gear)
– Whether or not you can provide a car for transport
This activity is fully booked.
