Have you wonder what it takes to be a UTSOAC Trip Leader?
Ever looked at those who lead our club adventures and wanted to do the same but didn’t know how?
Well this is the first step every Trip Leader has taken in achieving that goal.
The Trip Leader Induction Course is designed to introduce you to what it’s all about to be a Trip Leader and the steps you need to take to get there. We’ll cover topics ranging from how to organise a trip, post it on our website to environmental impact and signing out gear.
We will have a couple of our experienced Trip Leaders coming along to the evening to share tales of their club adventures and our exciting club policies. Are our club policies really exciting??? Well come along and find out. We also encourage all current Trip leaders to come along, share their tales, refresh their memories and meet our potential future Trip Leaders.
Sign up and come along even if you’re just interested in what happens behind the scenes and meet some more club members. There’ll be some pizza and beers on the house too!
This is part 1 of the trip leader Induction workshop.
Part 2 is a shorter workshop on all our Club’s outdoor gear and how Gear storage works – held on location.
Hoping to see many budding trip leaders and we encourage each one of you to bring along as many trip ideas as possible, who knows we may even post some real trips on the night!
