The Spring Pubgaine

Spring Pubgaine September 5th 2008

The UTS Outdoor Adventure Club Pubgaine goes to the Inner West! Commencing at 6pm Friday 5th September. Starting at UTS Glasshouse Bar - this is a team event (2 people minimum) where you race for 3 hours to see as many of the Inner West's Pubs as you can! (*Inner West refers to Suburbs from Newtown to Marrickville, Glebe to Leichardt)

• Combining navigation with Pub Crawling - teams are provided with maps on the night - indicated are all the possible pubs you can visit. Each pub has a score associated with it - and you need to figure out which pubs get you the most points!
• There are extra bonus points to be gained: buy a round of drinks for the team, double your points (any drinks except water is fine)
• The team with the most points at the end of the 3 hours wins!
• The race ends after 3 hours, but you can finish earlier if you like!
• Maps will be provided at UTS Glasshouse Bar at 6pm on Friday 5th September
• The PubGaine is based on the rules of Rogaining team orienteering races
