Karma Points

So what's this Karma stuff all about?

The Karma Point system doesn’t have anything religious about it except the name.

Basic concept of Karma: “if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil”

The system is mainly there to reward the members who contribute to making this club great. You get points for things like running, assisting and participating on activities, writing reviews and uploading photos from activities. Activity leaders can add Karma points to their participants. The committee can also decide to award Karma Points for anything that falls outside of these areas. The system is also there to catch the members that take away from the club by doing things like pulling out of trips with little or no notice.

Karma Rewards

Yes, you get stuff for "good club Karma". This can include external training, competition entry fees and prizes. At each meeting we award the Karma Champ for the last two months with a prize and we give the yearly Karma Champ a gift voucher at an outdoors store. Just ask our Prez about how to get your rewards!
